Turul Nest
Since from the ground, the Csillagösvény grand labyrinth appears only as a long hedge wall, it’s worth changing perspectives: from a height of three stories, you can look down on the hedge maze from this unique observation deck, made of netting and as soft as a bird’s nest. The Turul bird is one of the well-known symbols of the Hungarian conquest period: most of us are familiar with the legend of Emese’s dream, which foretold that kings descended from her bloodline would populate a distant land. The Turul bird also appeared in family crests, making it a recurring motif on various artifacts from the conquest era. Due to its symbolic significance, our unique observation deck was named the Turul Nest.
What makes this observation deck special and unique?
The floor and sides of the structure are made of netting, making it completely safe for all age groups to use: those who have already learned to climb and those who still can climb will surely enjoy it! You can reach the observation deck barefoot and by climbing, and on the way down, you can even roll if you’d like!
On the topmost level, stretched 8 meters high, you can experience the sensation of floating while lying down. Moving through the observation deck allows you to exercise every muscle—perfect as a warm-up before navigating the labyrinth or as a cool-down afterward.
Next to the observation deck, we have also installed three giant, ground-level trampolines, where you can engage in vertical movement between the horizontal-oriented labyrinth tours
